Main Connector Harness is partially pre-terminated. DB9 Female and 4-Pin Charger CAN connector is installed one of the Orion CAN circuits. Unused cables are cut short to 2".

If Non-CAN charger is preferred the 2-Pin automotive connector is installed on the second automotive relay to a 3ft distance. Requires 2nd automotive relay.

Cell tap termination labor is included in Internal Fuse Mod 1 or 2
Thermistor Harness is included in deluxe Internal Fuse Mods 1 or 2.

This is an alternative way to fix Junior Lonestar Packs so they are compliant with the recent rule changes.
Fuse is completely internal. A30QS400-4 fuse is default for Junior EV application.
This one shows the original DB37 female connector connected to a male DB37 terminated to a Orion BMS Cell Tap Cable.
CNC Serialization (inspection date and serial number) in final location.

All packs that run through our shop now are installed with 6-8 unterminated (shown in image) or Molex terminated thermistor cables so battery pack can be thermally monitored now.

Internal Fuse Radlock Case

The image is a prototype new 2024 case design for the Junior Dragster 150v Packs. Prototype made with some left over case parts.
New design features Radlock connectors on sides of case that allows for stress-fee assembly of either straight or right angle rotate-able motor cables. This design gets rid of 1ft of power lead cables.
2 fuses are shown. An A15QS400-4 and a A30QS400-4 for size comparison. Cables will connect to fuse with custom threaded nickle plated busbars for optimal surface area usage and bolt tension.
CPC-57 connector system (not shown) allows for stress free and reliable connecting and disconnecting of cell tap cable. ((flex conduit fittings shown).
OD and ID of case are the same.

Radlock/Surlok Connector Upgrade

For those wanting an Internal Fuse Mod on their battery packs it is recommend to considering a Radlock connector upgrade on side(s) of cases. The Radlock connector system allows for immediate internal threaded connection inside battery reducing internal wiring complexity and allows for a right angle compensated motor cable.
They are more "finger safe" than an Anderson plug.
Lower stress to remove and install than an Anderson connection.

A15QS400 is recommended fuse for Hyper 9 system car.
A30QS400 is default recommendation for brushed DC motor car (Zilla 1k + Netgain 9" Motor is common)
